Gentlemen's Club Sydney Velvet · Brass · A Door That Knows You
A gentlemen's club, done properly, is an adult venue built around service rather than a scrum: reserved booths, drinks poured at the table, live entertainment on a real stage, and a door run by people who know who is arriving. Sydney Elements is Sydney's luxury gentlemen's club, at 42 Darlinghurst Road in Kings Cross, open Tuesday to Sunday from 8pm.
The distinction matters because Sydney has plenty of adult venues and very few clubs. This one was fitted out in velvet, brass and low gold light across two levels, staffed with hosts and a concierge, and run on the old rule that the guest should never have to raise a hand for anything.
What Makes A Club A Club
Four things, in our view. A door with judgement: smart dress, valid ID, and a welcome that is warmer for being selective. A floor that is seated, not stood: velvet booths ring the stage on both levels, so the night happens at your table rather than around it. Service that comes to you: bottles on ice, poured by staff who know how to pour, topped up without being asked. And entertainment worth the name: a rotating cast of showgirls with feature shows through the evening, staged nightly on a proper stage.
Everything else follows from those four. The hosts exist so a reserved table never has to queue, wave or wait. The concierge exists so the night is arranged before it starts. And the tone stays tasteful because the room is confident enough not to shout.
The Standard
How The Room Is Run
- A booth held in your name, from an intimate table for two to a run of booths for forty
- Bottle service at the table, on ice before you sit down if you have told us your time
- A host on every reserved table, from arrival to last call
- Feature shows through the evening plus the cast on rotation across both levels
- The private room, curtained and hosted, for parties that want a door of their own
- A concierge before the night, so nothing is improvised on arrival

Booths Tonight, Membership For Always
For tonight, the booths do the work. They run from stage-side tables in the middle of everything, up to the mezzanine tiers above the floor, and on to the curtained private room for parties that prefer a door. Every tier and how reserving works is laid out on the VIP & Booths page, and the concierge quotes each booking to your group and your night.
For every night after, there is membership. It is free, it has two tiers, and it gives the door a memory: a members area of its own, one spin of the members wheel each night, and standing recognition that no queue applies to you. VIP membership is by invitation, which is rather the point of it.

Gentlemen's Club Questions
What is a gentlemen's club?
A gentlemen's club is an adult venue built around comfort and service rather than a crowded floor: reserved booths, drinks brought to the table, live entertainment on a stage, and a door that knows who is coming. In Sydney, Sydney Elements at 42 Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross runs to exactly that standard.
Is Sydney Elements a gentlemen's club or a strip club?
Both, honestly. It is a strip club in what happens on stage, and a gentlemen's club in how the room is run: velvet booths, table-poured bottle service, a host on every reserved table and a tone that stays tasteful all night.
Where is the club?
42 Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point, on the Kings Cross strip. Kings Cross station on the T4 line surfaces on the same street, and the CBD is about five minutes by cab.
Do I need to be a member to get in?
No. The club is open to guests 18 and over, Tuesday to Sunday from 8pm. Membership is free and adds its own privileges, including a members area and one spin of the members wheel each night, but the door does not require it.
What is the dress code?
Smart and stylish. Collared shirts and clean footwear for the gentlemen; no activewear, hi-vis or work boots, and no costumes. If you would be comfortable at a good restaurant, you are dressed for the club.
Is there a private room?
Yes. The curtained private room comes with its own host and security, with entertainment arranged to the party. It books by arrangement through the concierge and availability is limited.
Can I bring clients or colleagues?
Yes, and many guests do. A reserved booth with a host keeps a client night running smoothly, and the room holds its manners. Tell the concierge it is a work occasion and the night is placed accordingly.
What nights is the club open?
Tuesday to Sunday, doors from 8pm to 5am. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest nights, and booths for those nights go first.
